Palisade fencing is designed to be a strong and durable construction and Premier Palisade fencing provides excellent protection against climbing and cut-through. Palisade fencing is available with either a ¡®D¡¯ or a ¡®W¡¯ pale profile to varying specifications including specials for Gas, Water & Electric Co***nies, and the Public Sector.
Heights Available for Steel Palisade Fencing
1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2m, 2.1m, 2.4m and 3m heights are available. Plus, heights of 3.6m and greater are available on special request
Paling tops
Can be single pointed, triple pointed, square tops or round and notched tops
Horizontals
Available in 4 standard sizes according to height and site requirements: 40¡Á40, 45¡Á45, 50¡Á50 and 65¡Á50.
Posts
Available with welded fish plates or slotted, complete with loose fish plates that can be concreted-in, base plated for bolting down or cranked. Posts can be vertically extended to take barbed or razor wire.Posts are generally 102 x 44mm RSJ (or 100¡Á55), increasing to 127 x 76mm, recommended for fences above 2.7m.
Panels
Standard panel sizes of 2750mm (post centres) are freely available at short notice from Steel Palisade manufacturer¡¯s stock of all standard heights. Panels can be easily raked to allow for most site conditions.
Fixings
All fixings are anti-vandal and are generally supplied hot dip galvanised.
Advantages of W Pale Palisade Fencing
While D section palisade fencing provides effective medium level of security, a W section steel palisade fence provides more protection and offers an even greater resistance to attack. This is due to the simple nature of how the profile interacts with the horizontal rail, as shown below:
D Pales¡ªAvailable in 2.5mm, 3mm and 3.5mm
Use longer bolts , with bolt heads that may be exposed to attack. Plus there is flexibility between the pale fixing and the horizontal rail.
W Pales¡ª Available in 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm.
Use shorter bolts and the pale sits flush against the horizontal rail. No flexibility provides a more secure fixing.
